Rockingham Junior Golf 2012

Happy New Year to All, hope all enjoyed feasts and festive holidays.

Prices for Junior Golf at Rockingham Golf Club for this year have slightly increased we have tried to keep it reasonable so kids do not lose focus on their sport and still stay active within the community and develop their golf and social skills.

Clinic Lessons are now $8 non-members and $6 members and Sunday play is $10 members and $12 non members including sausage n water.

Clinic Lessons will be starting back Tuesday 24^th Jan 3:45pm – 4pm beginners

4pm – 5pm Intermediate/beginners

Wednesday 25^th Jan 4pm – 5pm Intermediate

5pm – 6pm Advanced

Sunday Play starts back 29^th January for a Hit n Giggle to get back in swing of things and we have a new tee-off time of 9am (YES, a little lie in on Sunday)

Please be present 15 minutes for Tee-Off times

9am Tiger-Tees 9 and 5 hole

9:20am 18 Hole

9:40am Both red and white Tees

9:40 4 Cub Hole

Please note that Clarence will determine the players ability of where they will be playing.

Don’t forget to check out the golfwa website for Junior comps coming up. Also the new Mygolf Tour for those in year8 and under that will be hosted by different clubs playing on their courses. This tour is in replace of the Graham Marsh Tournaments. At the moment it is only available to 30 participants for kids check out the flyers at club for more details or on golfwa website located down on left side called Inaugural My golf tour, check it out.

Also coming up is the Morning Crew Night Golf on the 4^th Feb info coming on flyer. So Guys grab your clubs and head to the club, don’t forget members you are welcome to come play in Holidays (just ring Al or Cali in pro shop to check availability on course 95271320).

Rockingham Junior Bowl and Salver

 TUESDAYS 3:45pm to 4.30pm  Beginners 

4:30pm to 5:30pm  Beginners/Intermediate

 WEDNESDAY 4:00pm to 5:00pm Intermediate

5:00pm to 6:00pm Advanced

Juniors will be divided into 4 Categories:-

 A   Will play 18 Hole Competition

B+    Will play 9 Hole Competition

B     Will play 9 Hole Tiger Tee Competition

C      Will play 4 Hole course set out on Driving Range 

Juniors will graduate through the different categories and when they have achieved a standard acceptable to the Match Committee they will be allowed to play in Club Competitions on Wednesdays and Saturdays with the Ladies, and Thursdays and Saturdays with the Men.
