On behalf of the Board of Management, Management Committees, members and staff may I extend to you the warmest possible welcome to our new club website. After looking through our site, I hope that you will enjoy playing on our course as well as taking part in the social life of the club. Please be assured that we will do all in our powers to help you in any way required. No one in this club, or any other, has managed to avoid the awkward and sometimes embarrassing business of joining a new club, especially the first one. Those moments, when you're left on your own and are not quite sure what comes next or what the correct procedure should be, are still remembered and we regard it the duty and pleasure of The Board of Management and the various committees of Rockingham Golf Club to assist new members on the path to familiarity and integration with their fellow members. The following notes have been compiled with this in mind and it is hoped that they will at least help new members to become aware of some of the regulations and procedures we use in the organisation of the club and the standards we set ourselves for our mutual comfort both on the course and in the clubhouse.
