Disability Access Exemption Pass

Dear Members,

It was recently brought to the Board of Management’s attention that some members (who use golf carts) are finding it difficult to walk from the blue lines to the putting greens.  Consequently, these members requested that an exemption be granted to cross the existing lines without encroaching on the greens or their immediate surrounds.

At the Board Meeting of 19th January, a motion was put forward that any member who has difficulty walking from the blue lines can apply for an Exemption Pass, which will give them permission to drive their cart over the existing lines.

The Exemption Pass needs to be displayed on the windshield of the cart at all times and only applies to the member whose name appears on the pass.

If any other members find it a challenge to walk from the blue lines to the putting green, they can apply for an Exemption Pass by writing to the RGC Captain.  Each application will be decided on its own merits.

If anyone has any questions regarding the above rule please contact the Captain Larry Geere or Vice Captain Margie Harris.

Yours sincerely

Larry Geere – Rockingham Golf Club Captain
