Rockingham Junior Golf Program is designed for long-term Development for Juniors from the age of 5 and above. We train our juniors using game-based learning; we take the outdated instruction models and infuse our deep understanding of junior golf into captivating game play. With our trove of 100+ learning games are incredibly effective at increasing enthusiasm for the game and encouraging skill development.

FUN PROGRAM

The starting point for 6–9-year-olds looking to learn to play golf and have lots of fun!
The program runs over 9 consecutive weeks with the focus on fun, while developing golf fundamentals through fun and engaging games.
Each session is 60-minutes and covers all aspects of golf including the full swing, driving, chipping, putting and short game.
PLAY PROGRAM

Time: 4pm to 5pm

Our Play program is specifically designed to create confident young golfers and encourage them to see golf as a life-long sport. Each child will learn in a relaxed and fun environment with a strong emphasis on interactive learning through target-based games.
The program is split into 5 sections: Putting, Around the Green, Full Swing, Knowledge and Scoring.
DISCOVER PROGRAM

The Discover Package is a non-traditional game-based learning experience designed to be accessible to non-golfers that are 10 years and above.
The program covers all aspects of golf including the full swing, driving, chipping, putting and short game. The group will be based on the driving range for their lessons but will also use the putting and short game facilities we have to offer, the versatility our programs offer, maximises the pupils experience and progression here at the academy.
TRAIN PROGRAM

The Train program is the next step on our Junior Development Pathway. All participants of this program must have completed the Play or Discover program within the Rockingham Golf Academy.
Students begin scoring regularly over 9 holes starting in a modified length and modified rules setting. This allows the student to play the game and improve on-course performance.
This program is aimed at intermediate golfers who are 10 years and above. All classes are scheduled during school term.
