Dear Rockingham Golf Club Members,
The Board of Management of the Rockingham Golf Club wishes to announce the resignation of Frank Gibson as club Vice-President with effect of 24th August 2021.
We would like to thank Frank for all his support and hard work over the past year and wish him all the best for the future.
Due to the recent resignation and shortage of nominations for the next AGM the club has several vacant positions available that need to be filled as soon as possible.
We are calling for nominations under the Casual Vacancy Clause 3.2.7 for the positions of Vice President, Captain, Vice-Captain or Elected member of Match to be filled.
As per clause 3.4.7 & 3.4.8 it is the Captains / Vice-Captains responsibility for the overall control of the playing of all social and competition golf in accordance with the By-Laws of the Club, and for other such functions as may be delegated upon the Captain by the Board or as prescribed in the By-Laws from time to time, or both. Members are advised that if there are no nominations for Captain, Vice-Captain or Elected member of Match there is a risk of suspension of ALL member competitions from the 9th of September moving forward until one of the positions is taken up.
To be eligible for the position you will need to have been an ordinary member for a minimum period of two (2) consecutive years and financial at the time.
If you are interested in one of the above positions, please fill in the nomination form and hand this into the administration office by no later than Monday the 30th of August 2021.
